We can work with you to choose the right Hosting Company for your needs, choosing a good, appropriate Domain name and creating a design layout that complies with modern Web standards.  Although we can do some minor graphical design, we ask that our clients provide the bulk of the graphical elements (photos, icons, etc.) and copy or text that is to be incorporated throughout the site.  Of course, we'll work with you in choosing and tweaking all of those elements.

As a new business, we would like to build on our Portfolio, so we will work with you to determine a fair one-time design charge, typically starting at $300.  Some things to consider in charging for Web Design are the complexity as a whole, whether a Database is required, and if additional Javascript, PHP or ASP.net programming is required.

After a newly designed website “goes live,” it needs to be Maintained by a Webmaster.  Maintaining a website includes making necessary or requested updates and minor changes, working with the Hosting Company to solve any issues such as downtime, dealing with hosted Email or Database problems, etc.  We have experience with several different Hosting Companies and can work with them to solve any issues that come up.  We can also provide you with various statistics or analytics about your website.  Web Maintenance is an on-going service and has monthly charges, typically around $20, but again depends on the complexity (such as database upkeep) and is billed quarterly. 

By the way, if you're adding up your costs, please note that the Hosting Company will also have charges that are not included in ruddTech's Design or Maintenance fees.  Some of the charges that Hosting Companies often bill include a one-time setup fee, a yearly Domain Name Registration fee (for each Domain), monthly hosting fees and monthly fees for any add-ons that you might want like additional web space, additional e-mail addresses, additional databases, etc.  So please, take a look at all of that when choosing a Hosting Company.
